For the project that we are working on with our partner, we are looking for DevOps / PHP Engineer (Migration & Infrastructure Projects).
Your duties will include:
- Designing, debugging, and optimizing GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Creating and modifying Ansible playbooks, roles, and Jinja2 templates
- Deploying and maintaining rootless container environments using Podman and Quadlet
- Administering and troubleshooting RHEL environments, systemd services, and logs using journalctl
- Managing secrets with Ansible Vault
- Troubleshooting production environments, including containers, networking, health checks, and inter-service communication
- Developing and maintaining applications in PHP (Symfony, Zend Framework 1, WordPress)
- Working with asynchronous processing and queue systems (Symfony Messenger, Redis, RabbitMQ clusters)
- Diagnosing and optimizing databases under heavy load
- Supporting Java/Tomcat environments in CI/CD deployment processes
- Solving issues across the full CI/CD lifecycle — from source code and build pipelines to deployments and production environments
- Supporting infrastructure and environment migration projects
- Working with legacy systems, undocumented dependencies, hardcoded configurations, and hidden integrations
- Preparing and maintaining technical documentation
Requirements that must be met:
- Strong practical experience with GitLab CI/CD
- Hands-on experience with Ansible, including roles and Jinja2 templates
- Experience with Podman and Quadlet in rootless environments
- Very good knowledge of Linux/RHEL and systemd
- Experience with secret management using Ansible Vault
- Strong troubleshooting and production debugging skills
- Commercial experience with PHP, Symfony, Zend Framework 1, and WordPress
- Experience with asynchronous processing systems and queues (Redis, RabbitMQ, Symfony Messenger)
- Experience working with databases under heavy load
- Ability to troubleshoot issues across the entire CI/CD process
- Experience working with legacy systems
- Ability to work independently and make decisions with incomplete information
- Accuracy and responsibility when working on production environments
- Availability to join a short-term project lasting approximately 1–2 months
- Very good English and Polish
