For the project that we are working on with our partner, we are looking for Kubernetes Platform Engineering Lead (Kraków / hybrid).
Your duties will include:
- Own end-to-end engineering and lifecycle management of the Kubernetes platform.
- Build automation, APIs and tooling for infrastructure and platform services.
- Improve platform reliability, performance and cluster/service upgrade processes.
- Monitor resource utilization and support capacity planning.
- Develop dashboards, monitoring and self-healing solutions.
- Support multiple software development teams using the platform.
- Participate in platform architecture, system design and infrastructure planning.
- Lead and support a local team of approximately 5 engineers.
- Coordinate workloads with the Global Engineering Team Lead.
- Participate in infrastructure changes outside standard business hours when required.
Requirements that must be met:
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, containers and Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Experience with Kubernetes-native technologies such as Istio, Cilium and CSI solutions.
- Experience building infrastructure automation, APIs and CI/CD pipelines.
- Scripting/programming experience with Bash and Python or Golang.
- Experience with Jenkins and Ansible / Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
- Experience with observability tools such as Splunk and Datadog.
- Experience with infrastructure lifecycle management and GitHub-based development workflows.
- Experience leading or coordinating an engineering/platform team.
- Very good English and Polish
- Ability to work from the Kraków office 2–3 days per week
