Hello,
We are called People More because we treat our employees with respect, but also because the projects we work on are for people and should be easy and pleasant to use. We are technological, but we look at the bigger picture :)
The company is made up of people with a huge client base in the country and abroad, for whom we build projects from scratch (UX, UI, frontend, backend, mobile) or in part. We work directly for our clients and also support our partners in their own solutions. This ensures a wide range of projects and the ability to change! We work with clients all over the world.
For the project that we are working on with our partner, we are looking for Automation Test Engineer.
Your duties will include:
- Design, develop, and support automated testing solutions in Java, covering user interfaces, APIs, and integration layers with the use of suitable automation frameworks.
- Convert business and functional requirements related to payments into comprehensive automated test scenarios, including full end‑to‑end journeys as well as corner and negative cases.
- Deliver test automation for various payment domains and elements, such as credit transfers, direct debits, SWIFT and ISO 20022 messaging, payment gateways, validation mechanisms, routing logic, and accounting/posting processes, depending on the underlying platform.
- Build and maintain API- and service-level automated tests (REST/SOAP), incorporating schema, contract, and interface validations where needed.
- Verify correctness of payment processing rules, including cut‑off handling, value dating, fees and charges, FX processing (if applicable), limits, sanctions and AML integration points, as well as returns, recalls, reversals, rejects, repairs, and exception scenarios.
- Define and apply effective test data management approaches for payments, including synthetic dataset creation, data masking, seeding, and transaction correlation across multiple systems.
- Embed automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines, supporting unattended runs, clear reporting, and quality gates to support release decisions.
- Investigate test failures efficiently by analysing logs, message flows, and (where allowed) database data, and report defects with precise, well-documented evidence.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and Operations teams to align on acceptance criteria, testing strategy, and overall release readiness.
- Maintain and evolve test-related documentation, including automation coverage, traceability matrices, execution results, and quality metrics dashboards.
