For the project that we are working on with our partner, we are looking for GCP Cloud DevOps Engineer (hybrid - Kraków).
Your duties will include:
- Develop and maintain the GCP foundation platform supporting application deployments.
- Design and automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, primarily Terraform.
- Integrate and manage cloud services, including IAM, networking, logging, monitoring, operating systems, and containers.
- Collaborate with Application DevOps teams and local and global IT teams.
- Ensure compliance with security and operational risk standards, including networking, firewalls, availability, resilience, logging, and monitoring.
- Maintain technical and operational documentation.
- Participate in Change Management processes.
- Evaluate and implement new services and solutions available within GCP.
- Take part in a rotational on-call schedule supporting 24/7 operations.
Requirements that must be met:
- Experience building and maintaining services within a cloud environment, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and Infrastructure as Code.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform.
- Good understanding of CI/CD processes and tools.
- Experience configuring cloud networking, including VPC, Shared VPC/XPN, routing, and firewalls.
- Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, ADFS, OAuth, and tools used for auditing, monitoring, and compliance.
- Strong programming or scripting skills in at least one of the following: Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, Go, Groovy, or Scala.
- Ability to work effectively with application, infrastructure, security, and cross-functional IT teams.
- Proactive approach to process improvement and implementing change.
- Very good command of English and the ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly.
